<p class="ql-block">2月4日。我們一行四人（我們夫婦，藍(lán)軍和秦東生）來(lái)到了Monterey Park（加州蒙特利公園）。</p><p class="ql-block">這是一個(gè)離我們住的地方約有3200 公里之遙的地方。但卻不是陌生的地方。從小學(xué)同學(xué)，中學(xué)同學(xué)到高中同學(xué)，都曾在那里聚過(guò)會(huì)。我記得一小學(xué)同學(xué)還告訴過(guò)我蒙特利公園曾有小臺(tái)北之稱。亞裔人口超過(guò)三分之二。其中華裔占絕大部分。目前的市長(zhǎng)是臺(tái)灣移民，其中的市議員大部分為華裔。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">然而，就在春節(jié)這一天，我簡(jiǎn)直不能相信，在這樣一個(gè)平和的城市里，一家叫舞星舞廳發(fā)生了加州歷史上最慘烈的槍殺案之一：11人喪生。</p><p class="ql-block">這一天，白宮為死難者下半旗致哀。</p><p class="ql-block">我突然覺(jué)得蒙市對(duì)我是這樣陌生，殘酷的現(xiàn)實(shí)推翻我對(duì)那個(gè)城市的過(guò)去印像。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">過(guò)了兩天，在油管上看到更詳細(xì)的報(bào)道，其中提到舞廳的經(jīng)理第一個(gè)迎著殺手，試圖阻止，而成了第一受害者。</p><p class="ql-block">看到照片，聽(tīng)到他的名字：馬名偉。</p><p class="ql-block">是那位近四十年前認(rèn)識(shí)的意氣風(fēng)發(fā)，熱情似火的老朋友嗎？</p><p class="ql-block">往事歷歷在目。。。</p><p class="ql-block">1987年，我到美國(guó)留學(xué)。他到廣州火車站送我。照片里我抱著周歲的女兒。</p> <h3>馬名偉是那樣有心。一年后，他約了我太太帶著我的女兒，到廣州太陽(yáng)島樂(lè)園游玩。為我女兒拍了這張照片。<br>我一直把這張照片貼在冰箱上面。<br>。。。</h3> <h3>春夏秋冬，年復(fù)一年。我逐漸和馬名偉失聯(lián)了。因?yàn)槟菚r(shí)沒(méi)有網(wǎng)路。鴻雁傳書不及電子郵件。而且我相信，我和馬名偉已經(jīng)走上了不同的生活道路。<br>在我離開廣州的時(shí)候，馬名偉是中國(guó)電子進(jìn)出口公司華南分公司電子器材部經(jīng)理。還兼任電子工業(yè)部主辦的《中國(guó)電子報(bào)》廣州記者站站長(zhǎng)。電子產(chǎn)業(yè)此時(shí)如火如荼。我覺(jué)得馬名偉因該在商場(chǎng)上大展身手。而我自己，已“淪為”碼農(nóng)了。<br>沒(méi)想到，36年后，我還有機(jī)會(huì)找到馬名偉的足跡。</h3> <h3>馬名偉，我來(lái)了。<br></h3> <h3>11名受難者的照片圍著舞星舞廳一字排開。<br></h3> <h3>愛(ài)心</h3> <h3>花圈默立，挽聯(lián)肅然，鮮花簇?fù)?，蠟燭環(huán)繞，清香緲緲，哀思幽幽。<br>地上留下的是人們對(duì)死者的悼念。很多人留下的是約翰福音3:16?！吧駩?ài)世人。甚至將他的獨(dú)生子賜給他們，叫一切信他的人，不致死亡，反得永生?！?lt;/h3> <h3>追思昔日朋友</h3> <p class="ql-block">一位住在當(dāng)?shù)氐木用?，與我們交談了很久。80年代，她就住在這里?，F(xiàn)在是市政府的公務(wù)員。她回憶起當(dāng)年曾去舞星舞廳見(jiàn)工，最后沒(méi)被錄取。雖然只有幾個(gè)鐘頭，但舞廳的規(guī)模已給她留下印象。</p><p class="ql-block">她不知道我認(rèn)識(shí)馬名偉。她說(shuō)馬名偉是個(gè)好人。在當(dāng)?shù)馗姓P(guān)系不錯(cuò)。很多人都認(rèn)識(shí)馬經(jīng)理。舞廳的老板是一個(gè)來(lái)自廣州的女士。曾在廣州外貿(mào)學(xué)院讀書。自從馬名偉當(dāng)經(jīng)理后，舞廳的檔次提高不少。他請(qǐng)俄國(guó)歐洲移民當(dāng)老師，教授交誼舞，探戈，倫巴，拉丁舞等等。這樣，舞廳就集娛樂(lè)教育社交于一身。</p><p class="ql-block">這受到了當(dāng)?shù)鼐用竦臍g迎。尤其是有一定年齡的人。這次的受害者年齡都在50歲以上。</p><p class="ql-block">她傷感地指著其中兩個(gè)人的照片：Hong Jian (簡(jiǎn)紅）是第一次到舞廳。而帶簡(jiǎn)紅來(lái)的Lilan Li（李麗蘭）亦同時(shí)遇難。</p><p class="ql-block">事發(fā)后，西班牙語(yǔ)系的居民到市政府門前，舉行燭光活動(dòng)。我們現(xiàn)在看到的在舞星舞廳前的擺設(shè)，最早的行動(dòng)源于白人。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">這位女士還提到案發(fā)后，兇手逍遙法外時(shí)，市政府和警局沒(méi)有讓當(dāng)?shù)鼐用裰罎撛诘奈ｋU(xiǎn)。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">AM1430粵語(yǔ)廣播電臺(tái)是當(dāng)?shù)厝A裔居民的主要消息來(lái)源。但政府并沒(méi)有通知媒體。所以當(dāng)?shù)鼐用褚粺o(wú)所知。</p><p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">我查過(guò)當(dāng)?shù)鼐斓慕忉專含F(xiàn)場(chǎng)見(jiàn)證人很多，但大部分不會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)。這給警方帶來(lái)很多麻煩。對(duì)證據(jù)的準(zhǔn)確性缺乏信心，也是其中一個(gè)原因。</p> <h3>說(shuō)話中，一位西班牙裔的老太太，帶著家人到現(xiàn)場(chǎng)。聽(tīng)說(shuō)我們從芝加哥來(lái)，還曾是馬先生的朋友。拉著我的手，連連說(shuō)Sorry。她邀請(qǐng)我們和她的親友一起禱告。</h3> <h3>在地上有一句話：Keep Dancing.
