<p class="ql-block">In a dense forest, there lived a tiger who was prowling around in search of food. Suddenly, a fox darted past the tiger. The tiger pounced and caught the fox.</p><p class="ql-block">The fox's eyes flickered, and with a loud voice, it asked the tiger, "Do you dare to eat me?"</p><p class="ql-block">"Why wouldn't I?" the tiger replied, puzzled.</p><p class="ql-block">"The heavens have sent me to oversee all the animals. If you eat me, you'll be defying the heavens' command. Let's see how brave you truly are!" the fox exclaimed.</p><p class="ql-block">The tiger was taken aback and released its grip on the fox.</p><p class="ql-block">The fox wagged its tail and said, "I'll take you to meet all the animals and show you my influence."</p><p class="ql-block">Following the fox, the tiger walked deeper into the forest. The fox carried itself proudly, swaying its tail, while the tiger remained somewhat skeptical, looking around cautiously.</p><p class="ql-block">The wild boars, the deer, and the rabbits in the forest all noticed the fox striding confidently, which was quite unusual. They were puzzled by the sight. When they looked behind the fox, they saw a large tiger! All the animals, big and small, were so frightened that they fled in all directions.</p><p class="ql-block">The tiger believed it to be true. Unbeknownst to him, he had been deceived. The truth was that the fox had used the tiger's appearance of power to scare away all the animals.</p><p class="ql-block">狐假虎威</p><p class="ql-block">在茂密的森林里，有一只老虎正在尋找食物。一只狐貍從老虎身邊竄過(guò)。老虎撲過(guò)去，把狐貍逮住了。</p><p class="ql-block">狐貍眼珠子骨碌一轉(zhuǎn)，扯著嗓子問(wèn)老虎：“你敢吃我？”</p><p class="ql-block">“為什么不敢？”老虎一愣。</p><p class="ql-block">“老天爺派我來(lái)管你們百獸，你吃了我，就是違抗了老天爺?shù)拿?。我看你有多大的膽子！?lt;/p><p class="ql-block">老虎被蒙住了，松開了爪子。</p><p class="ql-block">狐貍搖了搖尾巴，說(shuō)：“我?guī)愕桨佾F面前走一趟，讓你看看我的威風(fēng)。”</p><p class="ql-block">老虎跟著狐貍朝森林深處走去。狐貍神氣活現(xiàn)，搖頭擺尾；老虎半信半疑，東張西望。</p><p class="ql-block">森林里的野豬啦，小鹿啦，兔子啦，看見狐貍大搖大擺地走過(guò)來(lái)，跟往常很不一樣，都很納悶。再往狐貍身后一看，呀，一只大老虎！大大小小的野獸嚇得撒腿就跑。</p><p class="ql-block">老虎信以為真。其實(shí)他受騙了。原來(lái)，狐貍是借著老虎的威風(fēng)把百獸嚇跑的。</p><p class="ql-block">（《狐假虎威》出自我國(guó)的古典名著《戰(zhàn)國(guó)策》，中文原文選自小學(xué)語(yǔ)文教材課文。）</p>
