<p class="ql-block"> In the past month, although I was ill and my job was very busy, I didn’t give up learning English in my free time every day.</p> <p class="ql-block"> I have been looking for a good method to help me learn English well and quickly ,because I didn’t know what the best way to learn was. I studied hard, but I have only made a little progress, which made me worried and unconfident.</p> <p class="ql-block"> Recently, I have been listening to some English podcasts. Yesterday, I heard about seven bad habits in learning English.</p> <p class="ql-block">Let me memorize and record these points:</p><p class="ql-block"> 1. Learning more than 20 new words at once —this makes them hard to remember.</p><p class="ql-block"> 2. Learning new words without context —- this is ineffective for long-term retention.</p><p class="ql-block"> 3. Only using formal English —-this makes your English sound unnatural.</p><p class="ql-block"> 4. Overusing the same sentence structure — this limits your fluency and variety.</p><p class="ql-block"> 5. Fearing mistakes and often saying "My English is bad" —this lowers your confidence.</p><p class="ql-block"> 6. Thinking in your native language first —this slows down your English speaking.</p><p class="ql-block"> 7. Overcorrecting yourself while speaking English —this disrupts your fluency.</p>
