<p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(176, 79, 187); font-size:20px;"> 揚州的東關街區(qū)是保存明清風貌的古街區(qū)。街上的個園是“中國四大名園”之一，以四季假山的精湛疊石藝術聞名；而同一街區(qū)的何園則是晚清園林代表作，中西合璧，復道回廊獨具特色。東關街匯聚了傳統(tǒng)工藝店鋪和特色美食：揚州炒飯配料豐富，獅子頭肉質鮮嫩多汁，是宴席上的?？汀Ｐ伏S湯包湯汁鮮美，皮薄餡大。翡翠燒賣外皮晶瑩，內餡鮮嫩；還有不少特色小食品，可買了作為禮品。</b></p> <p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:22px; color:rgb(57, 181, 74);">東關城樓</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(176, 79, 187); font-size:20px;">宋代東門</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(176, 79, 187); font-size:20px;">南宋建炎元年（1127年）十月高宗趙構以揚州為"行在"，揚州知州呂頤洽被任命為兼職戶部侍郎，旋又升為戶部尚書。建炎二年（1128年）十月趙構于揚州詔命"揚州浚隍修城"，呂頤浩主其事，調動國力，以都城形制，用大磚修砌，史稱"宋大城"。略成方形的宋大城，東西約2200米，南北約3000米，設有四門：東為康海，西為通泗，南為安江，北為迎恩。東門遺址2000年以來先后進行了三次考古發(fā)掘，不僅唐、五代、北宋、南宋遺連疊壓關系清晰，還發(fā)現(xiàn)北宋州城的門道，其東、西兩側的寬度各為5.07米和6.09米；以墻基底寬13.5米推算，城墻頂寬約9米、高約13米。2006年建東門遺址公園。2009年參照宋代《營造法式》，復建城墻及重檐歇山頂門樓，以再現(xiàn)宋代州"壯麗壓長淮，形勝絕東南"的雄姿。</b></p> <p class="ql-block"><b style="color:rgb(57, 181, 74); font-size:20px;"> 街面上市井繁華、商家林立，行當俱全，生意興隆。陸陳行、油米坊、鮮魚行、八鮮行、瓜果行、竹木行近百家之多。東關街上的"老字號"商家就有開業(yè)于1817年的四美醬園、1830年的謝馥春香粉店、1862年的潘廣和五金店、1901年的夏廣盛豆腐店、1909年的陳同興鞋子店、1912年的乾大昌紙店、1923年的震泰昌香粉店、1936年的張洪興當鋪、1938年的慶豐茶食店、1940年的四流春茶社、1941年的協(xié)豐南貨店、1945年的凌大興茶食店，1946年的富記當鋪，此外還有周廣興帽子店、恒茂油麻店、順泰南貨店、恒泰祥顏色店，朱德記面粉店等。東關街是揚州手工業(yè)的集中地，前店后坊的連家店遍及全街，如樊順興傘店、曹順興籮匾老鋪、孫鑄臣漆器作坊、源泰祥糖坊、孫記玉器作坊、董厚和襪廠等。和東關街緊緊相連的是東圈門的古街區(qū)。兩條街現(xiàn)已結合起來共同規(guī)劃、整治、開發(fā)，這里除有老字號店鋪外，還集中了眾多古跡文物：有逸圃、汪氏小苑，全國重點文物保護單位個園，還有揚州較早創(chuàng)辦的廣陵書院、安定書院、儀董學堂，和明代的武當行宮、明代的準提寺、馬監(jiān)巷內有建于康熙五十三年（1714年）的清真寺，有東關街西頭香火很旺的財神廟，廣儲門街口的磚砌圈門，拱門上還鑲嵌有"盛世巖關"四個大字。如今東關街東街口又發(fā)現(xiàn)了宋大城東門雙甕城遺址。名人故居就更有不少，其中有江上青（東圈門16號）、劉文淇（東圈門14號）、金農（三祝庵）汪伯屏（地官第14號）、何廉舫（東圈門22號）、洪蘭友（地官第10號）、熊成基（韋家井6號），曹起晉（東關街238號）等。</b></p> <p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:22px;
