In the Yiran Lunyu Master Group, there was a dialogue that holds significant meaning. The conversation took place between teachers and students. This reminds me of the phrase from the "Analects": "As cutting and polishing, as carving and grinding." On this cold winter day, this chat about the "Analects" between teachers and students brings warmth.</p><p class="ql-block">On December 24, Peace Day. In the Yiran Lunyu Master Group. According to the duty roster, Li Gang sent out the daily excerpt from the "Analects," preferably the chat records between Chunru, Wang Wei, and Nianfeng.</p><p class="ql-block">**Chunru:** Good morning, teacher! Good morning, fellow disciples! The part of the "Ji Shi" chapter that impresses me the most is the Nine Thoughts. </p><p class="ql-block">**Chunru:** Near joy, far coming, the three friends who benefit, learning in distress, seeing goodness as if it were not enough... </p><p class="ql-block">**Wang Wei:** Receiving Chunru's greetings on Peace Day is particularly warm. The Nine Thoughts are too difficult! Each point is hard to achieve. For example, thinking of warmth, I can't do it. At over sixty, I still lose my temper sometimes. </p><p class="ql-block">**Xing Nianfeng:** You should express it when you need to. [Grinning]. </p><p class="ql-block">**Chunru:** Zai Yu napped during the day, and Confucius also lost his temper. </p><p class="ql-block">**Wang Wei:** Yes. Confucius was a person of true feelings. </p><p class="ql-block">**Chunru:** Each of us is on the path of cultivation. Striving for goodness and beauty. [Fist bump][Fist bump][Fist bump]. </p><p class="ql-block">**Wang Wei:** Confucius did not put on airs. This is particularly commendable. </p><p class="ql-block">**Chunru:** Truth is also goodness and beauty. </p><p class="ql-block">**Wang Wei:** In the next lecture, I must emphasize Confucius's emotions—joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness. This is very important. </p><p class="ql-block">**Wang Wei:** Confucius made his students swear to heaven. When he saw Nan Zi, Zi Lu did not speak. The Master swore, saying: "What I deny, may heaven deny it, may heaven deny it." Poor Confucius! </p><p class="ql-block">**Chunru:** He was also a straightforward Confucius! </p><p class="ql-block">**Wang Wei:** The greatest charm of the "Analects" lies in its recording of a real Confucius, a vivid Confucius, a Confucius who did not put on a show. </p><p class="ql-block">(As no one else responded, they are probably busy with their own matters.)</p>
