As a corporate chairman, former member of the Wujin Municipal (District) Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and an outstanding member of the Chinese Peasants' and Workers' Democratic Party in Jiangsu Province, he embarked on his literary career four years after retirement.</b></p><p class="ql-block"><b style="font-size:22px;">He has authored full-length novels Roots and Veins, the poetry collection My Dear, Let's Go Autumn Walking, and the TV series script Roots.
